PRIVATE LESSONS
I am available to teach private lessons on:
Ukulele, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, and other instruments.

I will help you with whatever you want to work on, but I really hope that you are willing to put in some time to learn the basics of timing and music theory. It makes playing so much better that way, and communicating with other musicians is a snap when you learn some basic concepts.

I charge a very reasonable rate of $40/hour.

"All in Good Time" Rhythm Workshop
This is open to any intstrument.

In my opinion, rhythm is the most important part of playing.
In this workshop I start with explaining the importance of keeping an open mind - open to learning, that is, and explain how and why to "count off" a song, how to find "the one" and how to "find a groove." How to play simply with feeling isn't hard at all and it makes a tremendous difference in enjoying playing (and listening) to music.

The cost is $25 for a two hour workshop.

Hooking up your PA and Stereo Systems
In this workshop I explain:

Basic Scenarios:
Microphone > Amp > Speaker
Microphone > Mixer > Amp > Speaker
Microphone > Mixer > Amp > Speaker with Monitors

What is a snake?

What are those knobs and buttons on the mixing board?

How to intentionally get distortion - How to avoid it.
Feedback (That sometimes awful screech you hear at a show) – how to get it - how to avoid it.
Gain structure (This has to do with volume knobs and how to set them when there's more than one.)
Basic EQ (Tone)

The cost is $25 for the workshop.
